Thanks Stevie for another chance to see you live. You and your music have been with me in every happy moment in my life and you and your music has helped me through the bad times. I came away from your show feeling like I was in a dream as I have the last 2 times I saw you in Perth. Your show was great your music is amazing and you are the most beautiful woman who ever graced this earth. Thankyou again for a great show and please don't let it be your last here in Perth

I went to the concert with my parents, what a great night. I bought my parents these tickets for xmas and we had been waiting along time for this night. This was mine and my parents first stevie nicks concert and she was amazing. I only wish she had spent some time here in perth to meet her loyal fans, (meet n greets etc) after all she has come all this way. Our seats were in section A3 row x seat 7 fo so i believe that i and the others in that row had the best seats in the house, being 24 rows back i could see absolutely everything, wasnt to loud as some others complained and perfect vantage point for some great pictures. My favourite performances were Rhiannon, Has anyone ever written anything for you, Stand back, Edge and Rock and Roll. I was hoping to hear some gems like I can wait, talk to me, gypsy and sometimes its a bitch but hopefully next time! I do agree that stevie possibly wasnt feeling to good as she didnt come across as vibrant as you usually see her in the Fmac dvd's, sort of like she didnt want to be here, well have faith stevie, you have made thousands of Perth fans so happy and gave me the best night out with my parents i have ever had, i and they are truly greatful. Perth does miss out on some great concerts from time to time but you didnt dissapoint us THANKYOU! please come back again! One tip: dont tour with john farnham ever again, his "caberet style performance" dampened the evening in my eyes ,like you hes a great performer in his own right, its like oil and water....they dont mix.

well what can i say i was given a once in a life time experience again {i went to mac last year} after seeing them i so wished stevie would do a solo tour well i guess dreams do come true.what a lady i can't believe stevie has the energy to do what she does day after day week after week month after month. she was just amazing. wished she had have sung rooms on fire. it is a special song for me .it is a song that i can relate to my partner.i think it would have been fantastic if stevie had done leather and lace with john farnam. stevie please come back again i just can't get enough of you. great choice in bringing vaneesa carlton too ,she is quite amazing herself. thankyou from the bottom of my heart for giving australia and the world the pleasure of seeing such an inspirational person perform.what can i say simply awsome.

Since the Fleetwood Mac concert at the WACA in 2004 I have been waiting for Stevie to come back to Australia and was prepared to travel East to see her. When I heard she was coming to Perth I was rapped. What an absolutely amazing concert – Stevie is a superb performer. Her voice is unbelievable and kept everyone mesmorized the whole time. Visual effects were excellent. As with another review I read, it woud have been good to hear some of her other popular solo hits such as rooms on fire, cant wait and talk to me which is one of my favorites. Even still it was great to hear Stand Back, Landslide and Edge of Seventeen. Stevie looked great to me and I thought she interacted well and spoke quite a bit to the audience. I was sitting a little way back from the stage so couldn’t quite see what was happening at the front, but I didn’t see to many people at the stage for Stevie’s famous Edge of Seventeen walk shaking everyone’s hand. I think she tried! The bad were great. Waddy Wachtel has not changed a bit from the 1985 Red Rocks Colarado concert and it ws great to see him play. The drum solo was fantastic and overall sound was great. Great to see John Farnham afterwards – totally different musician to Stevie – Stevie remains as poetic as ever and you cannot beat her voice. It is great that she writes a lot of her own music as well. Please make an effort to come back to Australia Stevie, we will see you again anytime – if John Farnham can keep doing it, so can you!!

Dear Stevie, I really hope you get to read these reviews when you return home from this tour. I start off by apologising for the two negative reviews I have just read in disbelief ! They must have been at a different concert to the one I was attending, maybe they thought it was you? Now getting back to the reality of the concert. I have been waiting to see Stevie Nicks in concert since I bought Live at Red Rocks many years ago. I've always been a Fleetwood Mac fan and a huge fan of your music with them or solo. I never thought I would get to see you so when I heard The Mac were coming to Australia and even to Perth I got tickets straight away. That concert was fantastic, and I loved seeing you especially. Then amazingly I read on Nicks Fix that you were bringing your Gold Dust Tour here, I couldn't believe it!! Well it was all I had hoped it would be, Vanessa Carlton was really good, and I did know who you were Vanessa! Then it was time for Stevie to come on. You were looking fabulous, and I personally think that your voice has improved over the years. You were very energetic, especially with the twirls for Stand Back. I loved that you did some songs off the fantastic Trouble In Shangri-La album, if only there had been a DVD made of that tour. I absolutely loved Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You, and the version of Rhiannon you did. The band was great, and the singers were fabulous, as always, lovely to see Lori singing with you again. I also liked it when you brought Vanessa on stage again at the end. The crowd loved you, Australian audiences are different to those in the States and Europe, they are generally a bit more reserved, but they were all whistling and hollering around where we were sitting! I have been waiting some 30 years to see you in concert, and it was a truly magical evening, thank you for coming over here, and I truly hope with all my heart you will return. Until then I look forward to the DVD release so I can hopefully relive one of the best nights of my life! Warmest good wishes.

Dear Stevie, I attended the perth concert tonight...The first concert I have ever been to [at 29 thats pretty sad] and it was all for my son! He is three years old and he absolutely loves you and Fleetwood Mac..We watches the Live In Boston DVD everyday!!!! He loves Stand Back and he absolutely adores Taku also!!! I thought you sounded brilliant and Luke [my son] has never sat still for so long, he was absolutely mesmerised by his stevie!!! He has a doll named stevie, a stevie skirt and a stevie shawl and he knows all the turns and moves to all the songs on the dvd!!! Big loves and kisses from him and he tells me you are booful [beautiful]....But I must say stevie you looked tonite like you needed a big hug..You seemed a little distant.. Don't get me wrong you sounded awesome and looked absolutely beautiful but having watched the dvd above and a whole heap others...you seemed a little down and not quite yourself...You are an amazing woman and from what I have seen have been through so much in your life...You have such a warmth about you and both my son and I love you...Stay strong and happy and remember that so many love you because of who you are not just your music...You are one in a million...Thanx for being so honest. Thanx for being so admirable and....Thanx for being Stephanie Nicks....

We actually couldn't get in, so we sat out in the park and listened about 100yds away from the WACA stadium. We are Americans temporarily working over here and it brought us all great joy to hear Stevie singing - she sounded better than ever...Thanks for all you have done for American music!!!!

Great evening. Excellent sound. Stevie showed why she is still up their with the best, looking good she mixed her set really well. The time just flew. New people to her music got to understand just what a beautiful and powerful voice she has. The band played their part; a real team performance. She remains a true rock icon.

This was the best concert I have ever been to. To be able to hear every word Stevie sang, watch the visual effects in the background, together with the wonderful musicians and backing singers, made for a very memorable evening, and one I shall not forget, ever. Stevie's voice is so wonderfully haunting, and I know this sounds silly, but I can still hear her singing in my head, beautiful. Loved the clothes changes as well, especially the gold shawl. I plan to purchase Stevie's CDs to add to my car stacker collection together with any Fleetwood Mac Hits.

Stevie, You were wonderful - Rhiannon made me cry. I really enjoyed the concert and have always been a big fan of yours. Thank you Stevie.

I just got home from the Gold Dust Concert in Perth Western Australia, I have been a Stevie/Fleetwood mac fan for the last 30 yrs. Its the first time I have ever seen Stevie Perform. I regret to have to say I was very disapointed, Stevie looked and sounded very tired and didnt seem to be enjoying herself at all. Edge of Seventeen came on and people wanted to shake her hand but no one was allowed. In my opinion this tour was a bit of a rush job which I guess would explain the lack of magic that I have read other fans talk about.I was going to travel to America and catch a Fleetwood Mac show if they decided to tour in 2007 but I have changed my mind. I know this review wont go down well with a lot of mutual Stevie Fans, But Im sorry, I wish I could have given a fantastic review...But its not the case.
Kathy
Fantastic show last night. You were brilliant Stevie. Memories will last forever. Come back soon.

The Perth Stevie Nicks concert was terrible, Hardly any crowd interaction, Stevie looked off her face the whole time and at one stage almost tripped over herself, after more than 28 yrs of being a loyal fan I am very disapointed. You've lost me Stevie.
Rhiannon W.
Is she a legend? Or maybe a myth... Thank you, Stevie, for coming to Perth. The first time in my 23 years of life I've been able to see you perform live. I've missed out on so many years... But I've grown up with you. The Perth show, ah! Dreams, it was. Rhiannon, so special to me, always. Stevie, she sings the living to sleep, beautiful dreams, and the dead to life, just like Rhiannon... Our Gold Dust Woman. Energising: Stand Back, and a brilliant rendition of Edge of Seventeen. I wanted so much to dance! Goosebumps: Beauty and the Beast, Beautiful Child. Sweet melody: Landslide, Has Anyone Ever Written Anything for You? Fun: Rock and Roll! Keep twirling, Stevie. Missing? Nightbird.

Some things get better over time. This fact is absolutely true in the case of Ms. Stevie Nicks and her band at the WACA Ground on February 28th 2006. Raw and Alive Rock 'n' Roll with heart felt passion throughout the night, each song a master piece. The opening number "Outside The Rain" was magically followed in by THE Mac classic "Dreams" like it was almost the one and the same song. This is reason why all the musicians on stage are masters of their craft. "Sorcerer" seemed to be a reflective number which Stevie performed with complete honesty and power then introducing "Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You" with the mention of how over the years it has changed meaning in some ways. As another Mac classic was introduced "Beautiful Child" which was taken from the Set List of the Fleetwood Mac world tour in 2004, Stevie had no intention of just pulling out from that list, but the number was performed as part of the DVD taping of the Melbourne show with the Symphony Orchestra and she "Just Took It" with a clenched fist, very honest and holding nothing back. Master guitarist Waddy Wachtel also has quite a voice on him, pairing up with Stevie to sing the ballard "Stop Draggin My Heart Around" original sung by Don Henley. Band intro' - complete with Stevie's sister in law Lori Perry Nicks on backing vocals who did come a Special surprise. She had been one of Stevie's vocalists through the 80's but took 15 years off to become a mother. We welcome her back. As a tribute to everyone at every show "Landslide" delivered with grace and power. Drummer Vs. Percussionist... not really they are equal in every way here. As they Duked it out, it all came to ahead with Stevie's "Stand Back" hard hitting and loud. Raw, Rough, Heavy or is it ALL of the above?... Yes! "Edge Of Seventeen" performed with The Ultimate Passion of Rock 'n' Roll, definitely the Show Stopper. It was as if Stevie has written it herself "Rock And Roll" by Led Zeppelin, even dressing up with her trade mark feather hat for that one. "Beauty And The Beast" this can only be described as a heat felt true love by Stevie. All in all, the stage calls to her and she answers... "THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE".

well what can i say that hasnt already been said in the other reviews. was a great concert, had been waiting years to see Stevie in a solo performance. there was only two downside to the concert, as Melissa Allen said in her review "If I had any criticism of the concert it would be of the sound mix at times. During some of the rock numbers the sound mix was a bit distorting and the band tended to be too loud over Stevie." I would totaly agree with her comment, my inner ear was hurting so much that it almost felt like my eardrums were going to burst. ive been to an iron maiden concert and that wasnt as loud. my other gripe was not being able to get to the stage to take a photo of Stevie, even on her last song they wouldnt let you down to the stage. just a shame she didnt sing a few more of her old hits, like rooms on fire, cannt wait ect. but all in all, im still glad that i had the opportunity to see the best female artist (in my eyes) of all time here in Perth, Western Australia. thank you Stevie for coming over our way, many artists never make it to this side of Australia. thank you again.
