Stevie Nicks 2007 - FAN REVIEWS

3/24/07 Caesar's Palace Las Vegas, Nevada

Christine and Courtney
We arrived in Vegas on Friday and we attended the closing showing on Saturday night. This was my niece, Courtney, first time seeing Stevie. When the show opened with Stand Back that's all it took for us to start rockin! This was my 8th time seeing Stevie in concert and this was one of the best shows. We loved all of the little changes she added to her songs. My goal was to have my niece shake hands with Stevie. My goal was met and Stevie now has a new young fan! Have to go - we are off to by her new CD!

Stevie ~ the Enchantress. Everything about the show was perfect. The band, singers, lighting, videos on the large screen, song choices. And Stevie, no one can compare. She looked beautiful, sparkling, was witty, funny and cute, sounded magnificent, as rockin as ever. Stevie ~ the Empress.

I had been to the final performance of the "Dreams Tour" in Vegas last year, great show but at the very end Stevie looked so tired & somewhat sad - I was very worried about her for quite a long time. Of course I had to make the trip from Florida to see this "Dreams Tour." Saturday nite was even better! She had changed some of the songs from the show last year & it was absolutely perfect. She joked around w/her Band & the Girls, she was having as much if not more fun, than those of us in the audience. She was so proud to dedicate "Landslide" to her Mom & to a Soldier she had met while visiting Walter Reed Hospital, both of them were in the audience. After singing "Landslide" she admitted how difficult it was to sing the song & how she had wanted to cry, the same way so many of us feel when she sings "Landslide"! Her whole show was unbelievable, her voice perfect & hypnotic, Stevie was at a comfort level that made you feel as if you were an old friend, one she had asked to stop by, -- anytime, --for a visit. The "Girls" so tuned in to each song & meaning, and her "Band" was the best ever, what else can you say but THIS is STEVIE at her best. Stevie you always have & always will be the "Goddess of Rock & Roll." THANK YOU - for another Magical Moment - in this Mystery we call Life.

The Eighth Wonder of the World has been discovered and with no surprise it is Ms Stevie Nicks. I along with a friend, who had never seen Stevie's show attended the March 24th Saturday night show at The Coliseum in Vegas. Stevie just keeps blossoming with her performances. The audience was denied nothing. The song selection, the performance, the capes. the platform heels, the voice, the graciousness. If you are reading this and have never seen Stevie, or just seen her ten or so times, what are you waiting for???

I loved the show. The new set was fantastic. Starting with "Stand Back" really got the audience moving from the minute the show started. I love that "I Need To Know" is back in the set. Stevie dedicated "Landslide" to her mom, who was in the audience. It was great that her Mom was at the show. I had the pleasure of being next to her Mom during the opening song of TISL tour (Aladdin Hotel). She seemed so very, very proud. Stevie - I'm looking forward the getting my copy of CRYSTAL VISIONS and I can't wait to see you on the road!

I was able to attend the show on Saturday night. Stevie's voice is sounding strong and wonderful. From the sensual 'How Still My Love' to the drive of 'Fall From Grace', Stevie's voice is a joy to hear. Stevie's voice is just as wonderful as it was the last time I was able to catch a show which was in Christchurch.

Stevie's Saturday night performance at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace was, in a word, AWESOME! "Bootilicious" and the Deep Dish 2005 re-mix of "Dreams" "pumped" the crowd before Stevie took the stage. Stevie entered the stage from the back and opened the show with "Stand Back." She looked and sounded, again, AWESOME. Simply stunning. She wore her trademark platform boots the ENTIRE show (even added in some gloves). With every move or gesture, Stevie still captivates the crowd. While I don't remember the order of the songs, and I may be missing one or two, Stevie performed "Dreams," "Gold Dust Woman," "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around," "Enchanted," "If Anyone Falls," "Sorcerer, "Landslide," "I Need To Know," "Beauty And The Beast," "Rhiannon," and "Edge Of Seventeen." Stevie's mother, Barbara, attended the show and Stevie dedicated "Landslide" to her (as well as to a friend from Bethesda, MD). I was fortunate enough to have been in the first row (again) and was fortunate enough to shake hands with Stevie during "Edge of Seventeen" (again). She is always very gracious to her fans, as is her band. She took both of my hands and held them for a few seconds. I told her she "looked and sounded AMAZING" and she said, "Thank you." Not many performers "give back" to the fans as Stevie does. I have been a Stevie Nicks fan since 1975 (when I was JUST 7-years-old...that's true) and after all the many shows I have been to (last night was #41), I still get very excited to watch her perform. Even though the majority of these songs were written many years ago, her fan base is now made up of teens/young adults and older adults, who all seem to enjoy dancing and singing along with Stevie. She really is a "rock and roll icon," there is no one else like her, and I feel very fortunate to have attended so many of her shows. I am looking forward to her tour this summer.

I've seen Stevie in concert at least 30 times in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix, etc. She's always been great, but last night was the best....BEST I'VE EVER SEEN HER. She sounded great and looked beautiful. What a great venue for her. We went to Vegas just to see her and all I can say is "I can't wait" to see her again. Her song selection....great. What more can I say? She was one Bella Donna!

March 24th, 2007 was literally a life changing night for me. I had only been to two other concerts in my life (both of which were teeny-bopper type concerts), and I was only about seven years old when I saw them. Seven years later, here I am, a Stevie Nicks super-fan. When I asked my mother back in January if we could forget our idea of going to the Grand Canyon for Spring Break, and go see Stevie in Las Vegas instead, I didn't think she was going to go for it. After thinking about it, she actually said yes and bought the tickets. I was over the moon with excitement, and couldn't believe we were actually going. This would be the first time seeing her for my mother as well, who has been a fan since the '70s. Two months later, we flew all the way from Michigan to the great city of Las Vegas, and saw Stevie that Saturday night. You have no idea how much that concert meant to me. I was tearing up before it started, realizing that my dream of seeing her live was f So Stevie, thank you, thank you, a million times thank you for such a wonderful show. I'm hoping that I'll be seeing you in Detroit this summer! Rock on, Gold Dust Woman! P.S. I'll be proudly sporting my new Stevie T-Shirt to school tomorrow!
