This show was incredible!Seeing as Stevie had cancelled her last two dates here ( "Enchanted" and "TISL" tours),there was no question that I had to be there. We arrived at the Amphitheatre, and got settled on the lawn.At that point, a member of the venue staff came up to my friend Jan and I, and asked us if we would like tickets in reserved seating for free! Of course, we accepted. I was decked out in total Stevie gear..T-shirt, Hat w/ 18 Stevie pins on it..and some people looked at me like I was crazy. The fact that she was performing with Tom that night wan not in any print ads,and was basically only announced on the radio. As for the show itself,Stevie was beautiful...she sounded terrific, and,to hear her haunting voice on songs like "Don't Come Around Here No More", and her blistering version of "I Need to Know" were enough to bring tears to my eyes. I was able to take photos and everything. To see Tom and Stevie share a stage and sing the songs they recorded together was a total dream come true....in other words,Tom Petty was very good..but Stevie Nicks ROCKED!!!..I couldn't have been happier. If you are a Stevie fan, and have a chance to attend one of these shows, do it!!!!You will not be dissapointed.Thank You, Stevie, for this rare event!I HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON ON JUST ONE MORE SOLO TOUR...PLEASE!!DON'T SKIP ST.LOUIS AGAIN...PLEASE, IF JUST ONCE MORE, COME BACK TO US!

Well, if you are looking for a bad review of Stevie Nicks you ain't gonna get it from me. I've been a fan since I was old enough to know what a real beautiful and talented woman was. And that's what Stevie is and she was very much the Stevie I remember first seeing back in 1980 for the first time. They've said Stevie can harmonize and wrap her voice around anyone else's. Insider was the best.. acoustic and emotional. It was nice to hear this song live. The way Stevie sang SDMHA reminded me of the video - kicking her leg up with her trademark boots. I like Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers but I can say I would have passed on this concert if Stevie hadn't joined them. She's tops - and she's a class act and legend. She does deserve her own induction in the R&R Hall of Fame.

Rock on Miss Nicks!

St. Louis 6/17/06 at the UMB Bank Pavilion was the place to be for an awesome night of Rock 'n' Roll entertainment, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers with special guest Stevie Nicks ! That is all I needed to know & I was there. Some people may say these are older bands but I'll tell ya, They rock, sound and simply entertain better than these newer bands. I'm 39 and have listened to these artists for years & was my first time seeing Petty, but enjoyed Stevie & Fleetwood Mac numerous times live & would still go see them again, they are that good ! Standing near my date, Kelly & I were two children singing all the words to the songs, it was great to see these kids enjoying the music the way everybody was, it was a mix of older, younger and in between & these bands still have alot to offer & I know nothing lasts forever but I would love to see these bands stay around alot longer & if this is Tom & the Heartbreakers last tour than I'm really glad to have been there & hoping to see Stevie and Mac tour again & who knows maybe Tom can make some appearances at Stevie or Mac shows. This show should be put released on DVD. THEY ROCK ! GO SEE THEM, even if it's after Stevie's appearances.

We love you Stevie!

Wow! What an awesome show last night at the UMB Pavilion in St. Louis. From Trey Anastasio to the four or five encore songs from Tom Petty.....it was all beyond any expectation. And in the middle of it all....stealing the show with "I Need to Know", was Stevie. I had just found out by accident that Stevie would be at the show about a week ago. I didn't even have time to blink before I was online with Ticketmaster getting two lawn seats. I missed her the last two times she came through St. Louis and to miss an opportunity to see her with Tom Petty seemed, well, downright criminal! So, I bought tickets, I had center lawn seats not too far back. Great seats! It had been raining all afternoon but stopped just in time for the concert and it turned out to be a beautiful night. I won't go into each song or any other details as they have been repeated before in previous reviews. I will say that Stevie seemed so at ease and so happy to be playing with her buddy, Tom Petty. Not to mention his band, who has played on so many of her solo efforts. The first time Stevie left the stage and was gone for a few minutes, my friend asked me: "What do you think she does back there?" I grinned a bit and knowingly stated, "Oh trust me, she is changing outfits." There is not much more to say than it was awesome. The lights, the singing, the music, the long encore, the way Tom introduced Stevie - he had just taken a few minutes to introduce and acknowledge his band and then slipped in, "and every band needs a little sister......please welcome Stevie Nicks!" I thought the place was going to cave in from the tremendous din that erupted when she first walked out on stage. During "Insider" I was so touched by the beauty of that song and I suddenly realized that this month marks exactly nineteen years that I have been in love with Stevie's music. I was 16 when I first listened to "Tango in the Night" and was so struck by her songs that I rushed to the record store and found "Rock a Little" and wore that cassette tape out in no time. Then I realized my mom had the "Rumours" album on vinyl (what mom didn't have that album back then!) and the first time I spinned it I knew that I wanted to be a rockstar. There was just no question about it. I wanted to be like Stevie! She is such a Rock Goddess and I have soaked up every single scrap of Stevie's music, interviews, artwork, just everything, like a sponge since June 1987.

Stevie - thank you for the music, the memories, the great big heart you have, the way you have opened up so many doors for women in music and the love you have for your fans. Last night was (I'll say it again) simply awesome. So, so fun to watch you hang out with your brother Tom Petty! Come back to St. Louis anytime. We will all be there to greet you with much love in our hearts.
